The last opera by Mozart – a labyrinth of the dark corridors of politics and the chained by it love. An opera which tells the bitter story of betrayal, treachery, tyrannical, tragic affection… And the mercy as unbridled streaming from man’s spontaneous goodness. The creative tandem in the person of the director Vera Nemirova and the artist Yulian Tabakov finds clearly addressed contemporary projections of the classical work by Mozart.
