“WE ARE MUSICIANS” CELEBRATES ITS FIRST BIRTHDAY

On 5 March we celebrate the first birthday of the unique project of the Stara Zagora Opera “We Are Musicians”. With the ritual of blessing with wather for health and success, performed by the His
Holiness Mitropolitan Cyprian of Stara Zagora , exactly a year ago began the realization of the Project “We Are Musicians” in the Stara Zagora State Opera. In its cozy home, the Stara Zagora Opera
embraced its first “trainees”.
A year later with pride and satisfaction we celebrate the success, hopes, inspiration and the unique feeling of being useful and enticed by the happy smiles of the sunny children and their parents. Stepping toward the creation mission to help and include children and young people with special educational needs, we firmly believed in the power of music and the human spirit. And the results we achieved under the leadership of the opera singer and speech therapist Rusalina Mochukova, together with her modest but hearty team were not late. With pride we mark the impressive results from the program, we enjoy the positive changes, we filmed our fist video with Hrisi /who has the Down Syndrome/. Besides their individual achievements, the children had their first concert event, as well as their debut participations in spectacles of the Stara Zagora Opera and Ballet.
