– private and group coaching;
We are often asked if it is necessary for conductors to know all operas in order to take part in our Opera Conducting Masterclass. The answer is NO; we encourage conductors to divide their podium time between all operas, but some conductors trade podium time with one another so they are able to devote more time to and focus on only one or two operas. In our suggested and standard format, each active-participant conductor conducts a full act or ca. 1/3 of one of the operas in a public performance, in addition to having much rehearsal time on the other two. Please ask us about this point if you have any questions.
HOW TO APPLY. Please send us the following:
€50 – non-refundable application fee;
€700 – deposit, refundable if the conductor cancels before 20 December 2019 for any substantial reason, such as health problems, impossibility to get a visa or any other such reasons. The reason must be in any case substantiated. In case of refunds, a waiting period of 4 – 6 months is to be expected.
