Children’s Choir “Margaritki” with Conductor Zornitsa Zhelyazkova, the Proto-Bulgarian Survival School “Baga-Tur”, Orchestra, Choir and Ballet of the Stara Zagora State Opera.
The creative team promises a captivating interpretation of one of the most loved titles in the opera literature. The bright and lively music, the fiery rhythms, the heart-breaking drama about freedom, love and cheating, about readiness for self-sacrifice, combined in one, are a huge challenge for everyone who reaches out to a new reading of the music by Bizet and his opera “Carmen”. On 6 July the spectators will see one classical “Carmen” profuse in attractive and spectacular decisions, to which the very title leads and the stage in the open. Vesselina Kasarova will change into several different costumes, which will specially be made for her. The models of the costumes are a gift for the world-famous mezzo-soprano by the Italian artist Salvatore Russo.
