The idea and the theme of the spectacle is the preservation of nature. Children go back to the desolate swamp every year and play, watching the animals there. Two of them have developed love for nature and dream of becoming biologists. One day another child comes to the village – a spoilt son of a wealthy investor, who wants to drain the swamp and build a hotel there. Unexpectedly, the Fairy of Life turns him into a bat. The Boy-bat has to choose his direction. The meetings with the different animals make him reconsider his attitude to them and the environment they have inhabited. When the investors start draining the swamp with diggers and other machines, a tornado hits them out of the blue. The Boy-bat faces them and forces them to stop. The swamp has been saved!
