Part One – The Lovers – libretto by Svetla Georgieva
A Loner talks about the transient human life, where everything is insignificant. There appear a man and a woman. Their conversation seems exciting, like a flirt, their words reveal enchantment and passion. The man and the woman start going slowly, embraced, to the night. The darkness shrouds them and they as if in their last love impulse start their flight from the roofs, disappearing in the eternity of Darkness. The Loner and all people who have seen them are shaken by what has happened. The man and this woman committed suicide, tightly holding each other as if in a last embrace. The two have lived together for long years, but for the last months the man has been seriously ill and had little time before dying. They wanted this last evening to be also their last holiday in their life together. For the first time the Loner is hesitant about his own ideas of love. Maybe, he played and pretended while the truth was passing by him. Having felt an acute need of closeness, he decides to go to the other people in order not to be ever alone again.
Part Two – Jealousy – libretto by Peter Thabit Jones /idea of Albena Vrachanska/
Two people who need love, who need somebody to believe in their dreams, a bit of happiness and shared warmth. Two strangers, expecting the other to say something. A random meeting, a random conversation and the sensation that this is a moment of sharing.
Is it possible for this beautiful story to be left alive?
Could love be eternal as poets write?
She believes that Love can be eternal and it is not only words which poets write!
