Giuseppe Verdi’s mature work is one of the most magnificent musical interpretations based on Shakespeare’s tragedy. Today, as well, the character of the moor Otello is still equally topical. It is related to the theme of the Different Person, who is not capable of accepting the social norms, often due to prejudices and hypocrisy. In reality, love, dignity and honor are captive to lies, evil and meanness. The tragic disentanglement is inevitable…
