The spectacle is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the premiere performance of the title at the Palais-Royal Theater on 31 October 1866 and 70 years since the birth of Prof. Rumen Neykov, 40 years of his creative activity and the 25th production as a director on the stage of the Opera in Stara Zagora. The action takes place during the World Exposition in Paris in 1867, for which the opera was special. The bright melodies, the comic plot, the singers’ and actors’ mastery are the basic qualities of the performance.
