“Butterfly Magic” is the next in the series of educational author’s spectacles of the Children and Adolescents’ School for Opera and Ballet “Margaritki” (“Daisies”) of the Stara Zagora State Opera.

This time performers are the youngest participants in the school – children from 4 to 7 years of age. The fairy tale will take you to the world of bugs.

The Little Caterpillar is looking for friends to play with. She meets Little Ladybirds-ballerinas, the rock singer Beatledrum, the hard-working Little Bees, Firefly with a small shining flashlight… But she does not succeed in making friends with them. They send her away because she cannot play ballet, nor can she endure loud noise, she does not know how to gather honey, nor does she know how to shine… Saddened she huddles in the bushes, starts weeping and goes to sleep… until the Cricket-boy wakes her up with his violin, singing “Oh, how splendid you are!”  And the transformed into a Butterfly Little Caterpillar still wonders – she has thought that it is only in fairy tales that caterpillars turn into butterflies…
