The plot is set on the Wonder Island, in the kingdom of King Kokoso Lights a Pipe and Queen Kokasa. Surrounded by their tribal chiefs, aborigines and… little monkeys, its inhabitants live happily and calmly. There on the Island is Shegobishko too – a white boy, who loves journeys and adventures. Having arrived here for the holidays, he makes friends with Okey Okay – a boy with an umbrella from the Island. One day a ship is laid alongside the shore. Aboard are Admiral Ginger, Captain Caraway and the ship’s cook Black Pepper. What happens when islanders meet the sailors? Will the Sorceress Aylo carry out her strongest magic? Is the tribe as peace-loving as it seems…? And is it true that the big bandit Igu and the two lesser bandits Tsigu and Migu hang about, looking for the buried treasure of Maharaja Moluk Bey…?
