The lively music of the ballet spectacle Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is by composer Prof. Alexander Yossifov, who wrote numerous musicals for children based on the storylines of the most popular and loved fairy-tales. The choreography is by the prima ballerina and artistic director of the Ballet of the Stara Zagora State Opera Silviya Tomova. The set and costumes are provided by the Ruse State Opera. The bright costumes in the style of the Walt Disney conception were made by Parvoleta Chavdarova-Letitsiya and the scenography is by Ivan Tokadzhiev. The motley-colored scenes in combination with a multitude of dance techniques and with lots of good mood tell the favorite story of young and old. Choreographer Silviya Tomova masterly uses stylish theater and dance techniques – gives the typical of her choreographic signature unique sensuality and lyricism and enhances the contrast in the depiction of the colorful fairy-tale personages with a dose of humor and irony, bordering on the grotesque.
