On 2 March at 19.00 on the stage of the Stara Zagora Opera there will be presented the spectacle of the opera “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi. The so called “blue Traviata” of the Stara Zagora Opera will be enlived by the participation of a star soloists cast – in the role of Violetta will debut the American soprano of Italian origin Aubry Ballaro, and in the role of Alfredo Germond a guest-participant for the first time in Stara Zagora is the eminent Italian tenor Emanuele D’Aguanno.
In the role of Georges Germond will debut the talented young baritone Yosif Slavov.

The brilliant soprano Aubry Ballaro is known to the Stara Zagora audience with her enchanting debut in the role of Lucia de Lamermmoor of the eponymous opera by Donizetti last year. This debut was the reward given her by the director of the Stara Zagora Opera Ognyan Draganov after her brilliant participation in a prestigious competition in Italy. In this unforgettable for Aubry and the audience spectacle, in the role of Enrico Ashton her partner is Yosif Slavov, who also had a remarkable debut. Now – the two young artists will again meet on the Stara Zagora stage, to bring joy to their already numerous admirers in the roles of Violetta Valery and Georges Germond.
For Josif Slavov the role of Georges Germond is the fourth debut role, which he prepared and presented on the stage of the Stara Zagora Opera /after the roles of Enrico Ashton “Lucia Di Lammermoor”/, Valentin ”Faust”/ and the role of Sharpless in “Madama Butterfly”/. Impressed by the talent of the tenor Emanuele D’Aguanno, who participated in the role of Alfredo in the spectacle of the Stara Zagora Opera of the opera “La traviata”, with which the Kosovo Opera was opened in December last year, Ognyan Draganov invited the tenor of international fame to guest-perform in Stara Zagora.
In the spectacle of the opera “La traviata” on 2 March participate also the soloists Emiliya Dzhurova, Ivaylo Yovchev, Aleksandar Marulev, Zhivko Dobrev, Ignat Zhelev, Stoyan Buyukliev, the Choir, Orchestra and Ballet of the Stara Zagora State Opera.
