He graduated from the State Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia in the class of Classical Singing of Associate Prof. Konstantsa Velichkova. He started his professional career at the Ruse Opera, where he debuted as Faust in the eponymous opera by Charles Gounod.
Since 1987 he has been soloist at the Stara Zagora State Opera. In 1990, he participated in spectacles of the opera “Nabucco” together with Ghena Dimitrova.
In 1992, he specialized in Paris under the guidance of Prof. Hamilton, and later the same year and the next one, he guest-performed in France and Italy in the operas “La traviata” and “Madama Butterfly”. Till 2003, he had numerous tours in Europe and the USA. He has a rich chamber repertoire, including with the choirs “Orthodox” and “Brevis”.
