Choirmaster
He finished the Secondary Music School “Filip Kutev” – Kotel (1993) and acquired a Master’s Degree in Choir Conducting at the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia (1998). In 2006, he finished a masterclass by Prof. Ervin Ortner (Vienna).
Since 2000 he worked at the Stara Zagora State Opera – choirmaster; conductor of Mixed Choir “Petko Staynov” – Kazanlak, Choir “Balkanski”, Ensemble “Coram Anima”, before that – Children’s Choir “Zvezditsi” (“Little Stars”), Choir “Planinska pesen” (“Mountain’s Song”) and others.
He is chairperson of an association of creative workers of the International Children’s Foundation “Steletoy” – Sofia and conductor of the Children’s Choir “Zvezditsi” of the Foundation. He is member of the juries at choir and singing competitions.
Significant achievements: International Choir Competition “A. Vivaldi” – Greece – 1st place in the category Mixed Choirs and 2nd place in the category Folklore (2009); Choir Festival – Ankara – a prize with Choir “P. Staynov” (2004).
