Vladimir Boshnakov

Conductor
In 1990, he finished the Music School “Panayot Pipkov” in his native city of Pleven, and in 1995, he acquired a Master’s Degree in Choir Conducting and Clarinet from the National Music Academy “Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia. In the period 1999 – 2001, he specialized in Opera-Symphonic Conducting in the class of Prof. Vasil Kazandzhiev.
He debuted on the stage of the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra with soloist Prof. Petko Radev in 1996. He has conducted the philharmonic orchestras in Pleven, Plovdiv, Shumen, Vidin, the Chamber Orchestra in Dobrich, the operas in Varna, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Blagoevgrad and on the stage of the Music Drama Theater “K. Kisimov” in Veliko Tarnovo.
In the period 2002 – 2008, with the Chamber Orchestra “Studio Primo”, he held concerts with Vasko Vassilev, Svetlin Rusev, Yildiz Ibrahimova, Theodosii Spassov and others.
Chief Conductor of the Music Drama Theater “K. Kisimov”, Veliko Tarnovo (2005 – 2010) and the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra (2011 – 2012). Since 2013 he has been conductor at the Ruse State Opera, and since 2018 – at the Stara Zagora State Opera as well.
