ELISABETH TONEV was born in Berlin, Germany. She grew up in the family of ballet artists /her mother from Spain and her father from Sofia, Bulgaria/ and this determined her future as a ballerina since her earliest age.
Elisabeth graduated from the State Ballet School in Berlin and participated in several classical productions of the Staatsballet- Berlin. Her talent was noticed by the associated artistic director Rachel Beaujean and Elisabeth was invited to the cast of the youth troupe of the Netherlands National Ballet in 2019. She joined the company a year later. Skipping entirely her participation in the corps de ballet, Elisabeth walks with aspiration along the ballet hierarchy and was promoted by her director Ted Brendsen to the rank of Grand Sujet when she was 22 years old. By exception she got the chance to dance many soloist roles, working with leading choreographers such as Hans van Manen, David Dawson and Balanchine and performed soloists roles in the classical ballets “The Sleeping Beauty”, “The Nutcracker” and “The Mouse King” and “Raymonda”.
In 2012 Elisabeth and Victor were invited to dance pas de deux from “Romeo and Juliet” in Staatsoper Berlin.
VICTOR CAIXETA was born in Uberlandia, Brazil. He graduated from the State Ballet School in Berlin in 2017. He joined the Ballet of the Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg the same year, soloist since 2019. Victor leaves the company in March 2022 because of the tragic situation between Russia and Ukraine.
After making the difficult decision to leave Russia and move to the Netherlands, Victor joined as the first soloist the Netherlands National Ballet, where he dances his first premiere in the role of Jean de Brienne in the ballet “Raymonda”. He was the partner of the Russian star Olga Smirnova in the role of Desire in the ballet “The Sleeping Beauty”. He is laureate of prestigious ballet competitions, among which stand out: The First Prize and the Prize of the Jury at the European Ballet Grand Prix 2017, third place at the Moscow International Ballet Competition 2017, first prize at Tanzolymp Berlin 2017.
Vitor’s repertoire is exceptionally rich, which makes him a very preferred dancer and one of the most talented dancers of his generation with a promising career.
