Aleksandar Krunev

Baritone

He graduated in “Opera Singing” from the State Music Academy “Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia.

His debut was on 16 January 1990 on the stage of the Plovdiv State Opera in the role of Giorgio Germont in “La traviata”. Consequently, he was a soloist of the Sofia National Opera, Burgas State Opera, Ruse State Opera, and since 2015 he has been in the troupe of the Stara Zagora State Opera.

He is a permanent guest-performer at all Bulgarian opera theaters. He has guest-performed multiple times in Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Romania, Macedonia, South Korea, Japan and others. He has studio recordings with the BNR and BNT.
