Ivaylo Yovchev

Tenor

He started studying opera singing in his native city of Stara Zagora, his first pedagogue being the long-time soloist with the Stara Zagora State Opera, tenor Vasil Nedev. He continued his training as a private student of Prof. Resa Koleva.

He has diplomas from the masterclasses of Prof. Resa Koleva, Elisabeth Linhart and a diploma for a completed masterclass in Chamber Music – French repertoire.

Since 1997 he has been soloist with the Stara Zagora State Opera. He has guest-performed in spectacles abroad. He participates in the project “Die himmlische Nacht der Tenore”, with which since 2010 he has given concerts every winter almost in the whole of Germany.
